It’s my party and I can read if I want to.

Somehow you ended up at a party. It’s loud, noisy and people are chattering. The music is terrible. Are people dancing or just pushing each other around? I’d rather pee outside than use this bathroom. I wish I was home with my cat and something good to read.

Let’s try something different. It can be as quiet as you’d like. You may attend alone (or maybe with a pet) and your attire, if any, is at your discretion. Are you under a shady tree? You don’t have to interact with anyone…even me. You can stay in bed or your favorite chair. The best part is that you can hook up with a fresh new book at a steal – instantly. This is my first time celebrating #IndiePrideDay, and I wanted to do something really special.
